Dr. Kahlon graduated with First Class Standing from the University of Western Ontario Doctor of Dental Surgery program. Dr. Kahlon was also named on the Dean’s Honor List.

He is regarded by patients as informative and kind, and they are drawn to his ability to make them feel at ease during each dental visit. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Kahlon is an instructor teaching radiology at the CADH Hygiene College. Dr. Kahlon is a member in good standing of the Ontario Dental Association.

In his spare time, Dr. Kahlon enjoys playing both soccer and basketball, reading and travelling.

After obtaining his DDS and PhD degrees in 2011, Dr. Jakub Konarski has dedicated his surgical expertise to more than 30 offices in the greater Toronto area. ⁣

Dr.Jakub Konarski grew up in Toronto and completed all his undergraduate and graduate training at the University of Toronto. Having originally been trained in all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Konarski obtained additional training, and currently restricts his practice to oral, periodontal, and endodontic surgeries.⁣

When not practising dentistry, Dr. Konarski enjoys travelling, biking and sharing these adventures with his two young sons.

For over 30 years, Pat Paolercio has taken pride in providing his patients with quality dentures, ensuring functionality, comfort, and a personal level of care. His comprehensive knowledge of fixed and removable prostheses allows him to provide various treatment options for each and every patient.

Pat received his Diploma in Dental Technology (’89) and Diploma in Denturism (’92) from George Brown College. He has also been an active member of the College of Denturists of Ontario and Canada for his entire career. Pat continues to stay informed on the latest technology and advancements within the field through educational workshops and industry lectures.

When he’s not creating beautiful smiles, he enjoys playing squash and spending time with his family.

Melissa enjoys being a hygienist at Heartland Dental Centre; she has been a part of the team since 2005. She attained her Dental Hygiene Diploma at George Brown College in Toronto in 2004 and is a member of the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario.

Working as a dental hygienist for over 20 years has been very fulfilling! Melissa’s goal is to make every patient feel comfortable during their appointment and focussing on individual oral care and preventative needs. The most important aspect is gaining her patient’s trust by providing a stress-free environment and making them smile, after each dental treatment!

When Melissa is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She likes to spoil her 3 sweet bunnies and her adorable grand-pup Saint! Melissa also enjoys cooking/baking, home workouts DIY projects, and travelling!

Naomi, a dental hygienist with over 14 years of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for dental care to her role at Heartland Dental Centre. Specializing in both dental hygiene and orthodontics, Naomi is committed to using her extensive experience and the latest in dental technology to provide exceptional care. Her dedication to enhancing patients’ smiles and ensuring their utmost comfort has made her a trusted and respected member of the Heartland Dental Centre team. Naomi’s approach to dental care is deeply informed by her years of experience, allowing her to offer tailored treatments that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Beyond her professional life, Naomi is a devoted mother to three children, sharing with them a family love for baseball and active living. Whether riding her Peloton, enjoying a baseball game, or unwinding with family movie nights, Naomi embodies a balances lifestyle that emphasized health, wellness, and quality time spent with loved ones. This blend of professional dedication and personal interests underscores her holistic approach to life and work, resonating well with patients and colleagues.

Arlen graduated from Medix College in November 2017 as a Level 1 and 2 Dental Assistant.

She joined the Heartland Dental Centre family in February 2018. She has a background in Health Care that’s why treating a patient is a rewarding experience for her. Her friendly, compassionate nature makes our patients feel welcomed and comfortable. Arlen works in oral surgery, general and cosmetic assisting with Dr. Bhakri, Dr. Kahlon and Dr. Konarski. She loves the variety of her work day, helping patients and working with the All-Star Team!

When Arlen is not in the office, she loves spending time with her family – her husband and three sons. She enjoys walking, running, baking and cooking.

Ashley received her Dental Assisting Diploma in 2012 from Everest College.

She has loved helping and caring for people’s dental needs from the chair side to insurance paperwork.

Heartland Dental Centre has been her home since 2019, you will see Ashley in many different areas of the office: from the front reception, answering calls, dealing with insurance companies to helping out in the back with treatment planning, assisting and everything in between.

Ashley loves spending time with her son Dante Carter, her family and friends. She enjoys being a boy mom/basketball mom, so her free time is spent at the basketball court for practices and games. Ashley’s passions are her sneaker collection, being a foodie, basketball – she’s a loyal Toronto Raptor’s fan and music.

Navpreet also goes by Nav she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from India in the year 2017 and moved to Canada in the year of 2018. She also graduated with a diploma in Health Care Administration and Service Management in 2019.

She joined the Heartland Dental Family in 2020 and has ever since enjoyed being a part of such an amazing and welcoming team. She’s passionate about making sure that our patients receive quality service and attention from our front office and also getting to know them along the way. She can also be seen assisting our dentists. It brings her joy to ensure that our patients feel satisfied and happy after their appointments.

Outside of the office Nav likes to spend time with her family/friends, reading, playing badminton and going biking.

Ana has been working in the dental field since 2001. She worked as a dental assistant for 2 years and as a dental hygienist for 12 years. Anna has 6 kids who keep her busy so she decided to be a stay-at-home mom for 5 years.

Ana is excited to permanently join the Heartland Dental Centre Team once again!

Ana looks forward to meeting new patients and getting reacquainted with old ones.
